The Memorial has been the site for a great variety of activities. In addition to traditional ceremonies on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, there have been many other activities. These include the Run for the Wall a couple of weeks before Memorial Day, military reunions, scheduled tour groups, and special dedications and ceremonies. There have even been funerals and weddings held at the facility.

The most recent reunion was held on August 4, 2006 and was for the 1st Battalion 4th Marine Regiment Association. USMC Lt. David Westphall and his fellow Marines who died on May 22, 1968 were from Bravo Company of this unit. Several of the Marines in attendance were involved in the battle that day with NVA Regulars.   Several members of Bravo Company plan to be at the Memorial this Memorial Day weekend to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the ambush.

In September of 2007, the Run for the Wall group completed a planning session and installed the first group of Memorial Bricks along the walkway between the Visitors Center and the Chapel.  Over 350 bricks were installed.  The plan is for this to be an annual event each September.

Below is some information about a visit by a group of ladies who served in Vietnam as "Donut Dollies".

On July 7, 2005, the women who traveled half way around the world to bring hope and home to the armed forces in Vietnam journeyed to Angel Fire. This added another page to the Memorial’s unique history of the Vietnam experience. It was an honor to welcome these remarkable women home.
